Julian Alvarez interest

Chelsea have shown interest in Julian Alvarez, who is desperate to leave Atletico Madrid before Deadline Day.

That is according to transfer report Nicolo Schira, who confirms that Alvarez has already agreed a deal with Barcelona. However, Atleti have no intention of selling the striker to Hansi Flick’s side, which has given renewed hope to Arsenal.

But, Chelsea could also compete for his signature, despite the summer signings of Danny Welbeck and Emmanuel Emegha.

Axel Disasi medical scheduled

Chelsea defender Axel Disasi will undergo his medical at Crystal Palace on Monday afternoon before officially being unveiled as their latest summer signing.

The Frenchman has been in talks over a deal to join Pierre Sage’s side for several days and after a transfer was finalised between Chelsea and Palace last week, Disasi has now accepted a move to Selhurst Park.

That is according to RMC transfer reporter Fabrice Hawkins, who posted on X: “Agreement reached between Axel Disasi and Crystal Palace. Medical scheduled for this afternoon. An agreement had already been reached between Chelsea and Crystal Palace. Loan deal with no option to buy.”

Pedro Neto likely to stay

Chelsea’s valuation of Pedro Neto is set to help Arsenal complete the club-record sale of Gabriel Martinelli to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal.

Xabi Alonso’s side have set their asking price for Neto at a whopping €117 million (£100m) and it’s understood that while Al-Hilal are interested in signing the Portugal winger, they have no interest in paying a fee of that size.

As a result, they have turned their attention to Martinelli, and David Ornstein has confirmed that negotiations over a summer deal are well underway, with Arsenal seeking a fee worth roughly €70m.

Martinelli was omitted from Arsenal’s matchday squad to face Coventry City in their first fixture of the new Premier League season on Friday night, and Ben Jacobs reports that he has already been informed that a sale is on the cards.

Tottenham eye Nicolas Jackson

Tottenham Hotspur are keen to hijack Aston Villa’s proposed deal for Nicolas Jackson, according to Football Fan Cast.

Unai Emery is keen to reunite with his former Villarreal striker, but Spurs have now joined the race to sign Jackson, despite reaching an agreement with Manchester City over a double deal for Omar Marmoush and Savinho.

Spurs are reportedly in direct contact with Chelsea over a shock deal, with the Blues asking for a fee worth around €75m to sanction a sale.

Man City ‘expect’ to sign Enzo Fernandez

Man City are ready to step up their pursuit of Enzo Fernandez and they are confident that a deal worth €140m will be agreed with Chelsea before Deadline Day.

In fact, Di Marzio report that Man City officials “expect” to sign Fernandez this week, with the midfielder set to become their most expensive signing of all time.

The Argentina international has been linked with an Etihad Stadium switch for several weeks and it’s understood that talks are set to ramp up over the coming days as City look to sign a replacement for Nico Gonzalez, who is joining Newcastle United.

Barcelona join Enzo Fernandez race

While Man City are expected to complete the signing of Fernandez, Barcelona have registered their interest in a shock late deal.

Hansi Flick’s side have already signed Rodri so far this summer, but they have now expressed their desire to bring Fernandez to Camp Nou, as per Chelsea insider Simon Phillips.

However, even if the Blues were open to a move to Barca, the player’s representatives have made Enzo’s stance clear: “Manchester or Madrid, but not Barcelona!”

Leeds loan bid for Mykhailo Mudryk rejected

Chelsea have rejected a second loan bid from Leeds United for Mykhailo Mudryk, according to multiple reports.

Daniel Farke’s side were considered to be the frontrunners in the race to sign Mudryk, but Chelsea have now ruled out a move to Elland Road, with several other Premier League clubs keeping tabs on a deal.

The Blues are also open to sending Mudryk to sister club Strasbourg, although he favours a Premier League transfer.

Man City want Marc Guiu

Man City have explored a surprise move for Chelsea forward Marc Guiu amid their bid to sign a replacement for Omar Marmoush.

City want to sign a new back-up to Erling Haaland and they have earmarked Guiu as a potential option, as per a report from TEAMtalk, with Enzo Maresca a driving force behind their pursuit.

Guiu is expected to leave Chelsea on a permanent deal this summer and Napoli are also interested in signing the Spaniard.
