Chelsea have been the most active club in the transfer market since the arrival of BlueCo as their new owners in 2022 and after a busy start to the summer window, they are once again set to sanction a plethora of departures before Deadline Day on 1 September.

Just shy of €380 million has been spent on new signings during Xabi Alonso’s first transfer window in charge at Stamford Bridge, with Morgan Rogers the most expensive at €138m, and it has been widely reported that player exits will now be prioritised for the remainder of August.

Chelsea have one of the largest squads in world football, and it’s understood that a host of permanent sales and loan deals will be completed over the next few weeks, with Alonso keen to significantly reduce the size of his squad.

Filip Jorgensen

Filip Jorgensen was permitted to leave Chelsea’s pre-season tour in order to travel to sister club Strasbourg and undergo a medical ahead of a loan move to the Ligue 1 club.

The deal has not yet been announced, but he will formally become a Strasbourg player soon and he will replace Mike Penders, who has returned to Chelsea, as their new number one ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

Gabriel Slonina

Gabriel Slonina joined Chelsea from Chicago Fire in 2022, however he is yet to make his first-team debut and he is likely to leave the club, either on loan or permanently, before the end of the window.

He trained with Strasbourg in July, with the aim of joining the club, but he was unsuccessful and he is now with Chelsea’s first-team squad in Asia.

Benoit Badiashile

Chelsea are on the verge of finalising a loan deal with Napoli for Benoit Badiashile, who has already agreed terms with the Serie A giants.

The Frenchman will initially join Napoli on loan for the 2026-27 season, but they will have the option to make the deal permanent next summer. Badiashile’s last Premier League appearance for Chelsea came against West Ham United on 31 January.

Trevoh Chalobah

Trevoh Chalobah is set to be unveiled as a Como player shortly after Cesc Fabregas’ side struck a total agreement to sign him on a permanent deal for an initial fee of €30m.

The Chelsea academy graduate will leave his boyhood club having racked up 151 first-team appearances, including 47 last season.

Axel Disasi

After failing to secure a transfer last summer, Axel Disasi joined West Ham on loan in January and following an encouraging stint in east London, he is expected to leave Chelsea before the end of August.

Crystal Palace are leading the race for his signature and reports indicate they are interested in finalising a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

Mamadou Sarr

Mamadou Sarr was recalled by Chelsea in January, following an eye-catching start to the 2025-26 season on loan at Strasbourg, but he failed to impress and made just three Premier League appearances before the end of the campaign.

The Blues are once again eager to send him out on loan, with rumours suggesting that he could join a club in the English top flight.

Aaron Anselmino

Aaron Anselmino impressed on loan at Borussia Dortmund during the first half of last season, however injuries limited his involvement to just 10 matches and he struggled with fitness issues even more after moving to Strasbourg, to replace Sarr, in January.

The Argentine has played at left-back for Chelsea in pre-season, but the imminent arrival of Pep Chavarria means he won’t be deployed there this term and the Blues are keen to ensure he gets a run of consistent starts out on loan.

Caleb Wiley

Caleb Wiley returned to Watford on loan last summer, following a productive stint in 2024-25, but injuries limited him to just five appearances before he was recalled by Chelsea during the January transfer window.

Another loan move is expected to be sanctioned, with multiple EFL clubs ready to launch an approach before Deadline Day.

Malo Gusto

After signing Marco Palestra from Atalanta, it’s no surprise that Malo Gusto has been linked with a Chelsea exit, and both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on his situation.

While the west London giants aren’t actively looking to offload him, they are willing to sanction a sale if their asking price of roughly €88m (£75m) is met.

Enzo Fernandez

Enzo Fernandez is keen to explore his options following his participation at the World Cup and it has been widely reported that he would like to complete a dream move to Real Madrid this summer.

However, Los Blancos aren’t currently pursuing a deal and he could therefore be forced to stay at Chelsea. Despite this, Alonso’s side are ready to sell him for €140m.

Omari Kellyman

Omari Kellyman remains one of the strangest signings in football history, given he was involved in a PSR swap deal with Ian Maatsen, and he is still yet to make his competitive debut for Chelsea.

He impressed on loan at League One outfit Cardiff City last season and it’s likely that he will secure a temporary exit once again this summer, most likely to another EFL club.

Reggie Walsh

Chelsea are finally set to properly utilise the EFL loan system again this summer - something they have rarely done under BlueCo - and Reggie Walsh is likely to be one of the beneficiaries.

The teenager is regarded as one of Chelsea’s most promising academy stars and he is set to secure regular senior football this season, with Wigan Athletic leading the race to sign him on loan.

Ryan Kavuma-McQueen

Ryan Kavuma-McQueen is another talented academy starlet set for a season-long loan move and Championship side Portsmouth are understood to be on the verge of signing him.

He scored five goals and provided three assists in 10 Premier League 2 games last year.

Pedro Neto

Pedro Neto certainly isn’t on Chelsea’s ‘for-sale’ list, however he isn’t one of their untouchable stars either and Man City boss Enzo Maresca is eager to reunite with the Portugal winger this season.

It’s understood that initial talks have taken place over a potential summer transfer, although Chelsea want at least €80m to sanction a sale.

Mykhailo Mudryk

Mykhailo Mudryk has officially returned to action after being cleared of his doping charge and he made his first appearance for Chelsea in over 18 months during a pre-season friendly against Juventus on Wednesday.

The Blues are expected to send him out on loan this summer, in order to ensure he gets back up to speed, and Coventry City are among his suitors.

Deivid Washington

Deivid Washington joined Chelsea back in 2023, however he has played just two senior games for the club and he has more regularly featured for the U21s.

After an unsuccessful loan spell back at Santos in 2025, Chelsea are open to a permanent sale, but they may be forced to accept another loan deal.

David Datro Fofana

David Datro Fofana is in a similar boat to Washington, although Chelsea are desperate to sell him permanently if possible.

The Ivorian has spent time on loan at Union Berlin, Burnley, Goztepe, Fatih Karagumruk and Strasbourg since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, and the club now want to cut ties.

Marc Guiu

Marc Guiu has fallen down the pecking order following the signing of Danny Welbeck, and Chelsea want him to leave the club, either on loan or permanently, before Deadline Day.

He was omitted from their squad for their pre-season tour and a transfer is widely expected to be finalised at some point over the coming weeks.

Nicolas Jackson

Nicolas Jackson could play a key role for Chelsea this season, following his return from a loan spell at Bayern Munich, but the club are open to offers and a permanent sale could therefore be on the cards.

The Senegal striker is valued at €75m, and Aston Villa, who are coached by his former Villarreal boss Unai Emery, are among the clubs keeping a watchful eye on his situation.

Liam Delap

Liam Delap was expected to play a prominent role for Chelsea last year, but his campaign was curtailed by hamstring and shoulder injuries during the early months of the season and his form never recovered.

He scored just one Premier League goal and the Blues are now hoping to sell him permanently before Deadline Day.
