Fernandez-Pardo talks

Arsenal are "in dialogue" over a deal for Lille forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo, CaughtOffside claims.

The Gunners are considering a move for the Belgium international in their search for attacking reinforcements, and it is no secret that the player is keen on a transfer. Fernandez-Pardo has been pushing for a Lille exit for weeks.

Newcastle are also interested in the €70 million-rated attacker, but Sky Sports understands that Lille are resisting any approaches for the 21-year-old as they do not want to lose him this summer.

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Kolkheti to sign Andria Bartishvili, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Gunners will pay €4.5m for the 17-year-old versatile attacker, who will officially join the club after his 18th birthday next year. Bartishvili has been dubbed the "next Khvicha Kvaratskhelia" and is currently on loan at Georgian side Iberia 1999.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have also confirmed the signing of winger James Scanlon from Man Utd. The 19-year-old Gibraltar international has joined the academy after spending last season on loan at Swindon in League Two.

Alvarez confusion

Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez continues to dominate the headlines, but there are conflicting reports about Arsenal's chances of signing him.

Fabrizio Romano insists that the Gunners are continuing their efforts to sign the Argentina international, while David Ornstein understands that Alvarez has personally told Mikel Arteta that he does not want to return to England.

The striker is still pushing for a move to Barcelona, but this is currently considered all but impossible. That said, reports in Spain claim that Alvarez could terminate his contract under Spanish law and have Barcelona pay a court-ordered compensation to Atleti.

Jesus offered to Atleti

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has been offered to Atletico Madrid, Matteo Moretto reports.

The Brazilian is expected to leave Arsenal before the window shuts next week and is a key target for Napoli. However, the Serie A giants need to offload some of their forwards before they can make a move for the €20m-rated Gunners star.

With this situation unresolved, Jesus has now been offered to Atletico Madrid. This is surely linked to the Alvarez saga, but Arsenal's attempts to sweeten the deal will prove fruitless unless they convince the Argentine to consider a move to England.

Nwaneri decision

Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri wants to stay in the Premier League this summer, Sky Sports writes.

The 19-year-old has received interest from foreign clubs, but he is keen to avoid having to leave England again after his disappointing loan spell at Marseille.

Nwaneri has been widely expected to leave Arsenal, but unless an attractive Premier League offer emerges in the final days of the window, he will stay put despite not having any game time guarantees.
