Arteta's €280m investment?

Arsenal are ready to back Mikel Arteta in the market this summer by signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Tino Livramento and Marc Casado, Fichajes claims.

Kvaratskhelia and Livramento are key players for PSG and Newcastle, respectively, and signing both will prove difficult and expensive. Casado, meanwhile, is much more attainable as he has struggled for minutes at Barcelona recently.

Signing these three players would require an outlay in the region of €280 million, but it is claimed that Arsenal are once again ready to invest heavily in Arteta's team to add more quality and depth.

Arsenal in Lukeba scramble

Arsenal are one of several clubs that are in a "massive scramble" to sign RB Leipzig defender Castello Lukeba, as per TEAMtalk.

Lukeba is fully planning to leave the Bundesliga side this summer, and it is understood that suitors will not have to trigger his €80m release clause. Leipzig are prepared to sell for around €60m.

Arsenal have been "formally notified" that Lukeba is available, but several other Premier League giants have also shown an interest in signing the France international.

Arsenal involved in Rogers battle

The race to sign Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers is intensifying, according to The Times and Sky Sports.

The 23-year-old is fielding concrete interest from at least four clubs: Arsenal, Chelsea Man Utd and PSG, while Liverpool have also been associated with a move for him by other sources.

Villa don't want to sell, but they will face a battle to keep hold of the England star this summer. They may also simply be compelled to cash in on him if they wish to invest in their side. Rogers, for his part, is said to be open to a move.

Arsenal face competition from Liverpool and Man City in the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen striker Christian Kofane, TEAMtalk reports.

The Ivory Coast international has been a target for the Gunners since he impressed against them in the Champions League, with his agent confirming the club's strong interest in acquiring his services.

However, Liverpool and Man City are also showing an interest in the 19-year-old. Both have made contact with his camp to gauge his willingness for a summer transfer.
