Man Utd's new €100m target

Man Utd have identified RB Leipzig midfielder Assan Ouedraogo as a summer target, according to TEAMtalk.

The Germany international has been a standout performer in the Bundesliga when fit, but he has been nursing an injury for several weeks now, making it a surprise that clubs are already queuing up to sign him.

Leipzig believe that they potentially have a €100 million player on their hands, which is why they will not sell the 19-year-old on the cheap, if at all, this summer.

Williams offer prepared

Man Utd are 'preparing' an €80m offer for Athletic Club winger Nico Williams, according to Fichajes.

Michael Carrick has said that Man Utd will look to sign a left-winger this summer, and the Spain international has now emerged as a priority target for the Old Trafford side.

Williams signed a whopping 10-year contract with the Bilbao side last summer, but it is believed that the Basque giants will not stand in his way if a suitable offer arrives and the player wants to pursue the opportunity.

Barcelona president coy on Rashford

Incumbent Barcelona president Joan Laporta has refused to give any guarantees that Marcus Rashford will be signed permanently from Man Utd ahead of Sunday's elections.

It has been widely reported that the Catalans want to find a way around Rashford's €30m purchase option as they believe it is too expensive due to their financial situation, whereas most clubs would see it as a bargain.

"We’re very satisfied with Rashford’s performance," Laporta said. "He’s integrated very well. He’s a very active social campaigner and has been getting involved in the foundation. Deco will decide what we’ll do at the end of the season. We can look at other options to keep him."

Man Utd still in for Ederson

Man Utd remain in the mix to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson this summer, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

It was claimed earlier this week that the Brazilian had reached a "preliminary agreement" to join Atletico Madrid this summer, but this does not seem to be the case, even if the Spanish side are genuinely interested.

Ederson, whose contract expires next year, is fully expected to be on the move this summer as Atalanta's demands have dropped significantly from around €60m to just €30m-€40m.

Another Fernandes at Man Utd?

Man Utd are showing an interest in West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, according to talkSPORT.

Fernandes, who is not related to Man Utd captain Bruno, left Southampton when they were relegated last summer, and he will seek to do so again if West Ham fail to survive.

Though West Ham are likely to demand an inflated fee for the Portuguese, he could still be a cheaper option than some of Man Utd's other transfer targets this summer.
