Chelsea Transfer News Today: Enzo Fernandez bombshell drops as summer offer prepared
FootballTransfers runs through the latest Chelsea transfer news, rumours and gossip, including updates on Enzo Fernandez and Vitor Roque.
Enzo Fernandez to Real Madrid latest
Real Madrid are reportedly ready to go “all out” for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez following confirmation that Vitinha has no interest in joining the club this summer.
Vitinha, 26, had been earmarked as a top transfer target by the Real Madrid hierarchy due to his immense form for Paris Saint-Germain, however he has now revealed that he will not be completing a blockbuster move to the Bernabeu in 2026.
With a move for Vitinha now extremely unlikely to take place, Real Madrid have now shifted their focus to finalising a deal for long-term target Fernandez.
That is according to Spanish publication Fichajes, who claim that Los Blancos are preparing an opening bid worth €120 million as they look to tempt Chelsea into a sale when the 2026 summer transfer window opens.
Vitor Roque offer
Chelsea remain interested in finalising a deal for Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque and they are reportedly preparing to submit a €50 million offer this summer.
The Brazil international, who returned to his homeland last year following an ill-fated spell with Barcelona, has emerged as a top target for Liam Rosenior’s side in recent months and the Blues are ready to accelerate their pursuit of his signature ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Roque has scored 25 goals in 69 games for Palmeiras and the Chelsea board are keen to bring him back to Europe this summer amid the woes of Liam Delap since his arrival from Ipswich Town.
In fact, according to Spanish publication Fichajes, Chelsea are ready to submit a €50m bid for the 21-year-old in an attempt to finalise a deal with Palmeiras before any other interested clubs are able to beat them to his signature.
Joel Ordonez update
Chelsea remain in the race to sign Club Brugge defender Joel Ordonez, although they will face competition from Liverpool and PSG for the Ecuador star, as per SportsBoom.
The Blues were interested in signing the centre-back last summer and they are expected to rekindle their pursuit of his signature following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, despite Mamadou Sarr’s return from his loan spell at Strasbourg.
West Ham star wanted
Chelsea have added West Ham left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf to their transfer wishlist for 2026, according to Fichajes.
The Senegal defender has impressed since his arrival in east London last summer and he has been earmarked as a possible signing by the Chelsea hierarchy for later this year.
The Blues are reportedly keen to sign a player capable of competing with Marc Cucurella and Jorrel Hato for a place in the starting XI, and Diouf has been sounded out as a top target amid his reported price tag of just €28m.
Joao Pedro is the No.9 answer
Former England striker Gary Lineker believes that Chelsea didn’t sign Joao Pedro to be the answer to their centre forward woes last summer.
The Brazilian has netted 17 goals across all competitions so far this season and Lineker was keen to heap praise on the ex-Brighton star following his hat-trick versus Aston Villa on Wednesday.
Speaking on the Rest is Football podcast, Lineker said: “I don’t think they probably necessarily bought him originally as thinking he’s a nine. But I don’t know, he might be the answer to that, I think.
“I mean, what’s his record in the last, it’s 17 goals in all competitions and eight Premier League goals since Rosenior took over.
“Really impressive. Yeah, very good. I mean, and credit to the coach for getting the best out of him as well.”
Fisnik Asllani latest
Chelsea view Hoffenheim star Fisnik Asllani as a “complete striker” and they are currently leading the race for his signature this summer, as per a report from TEAMtalk.
The 23-year-old has scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 25 games across all competitions so far this season and Chelsea have identified him as a potential signing for 2026.
However, they will reportedly face competition from the likes of Aston Villa, Barcelona and Tottenham.
