Chelsea to submit €150m Jude Bellingham offer
Chelsea are planning on spending €150 million on Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham this summer, according to a sensational report in Spain.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months and Chelsea are reportedly among the clubs eager to bring him back to England later this year.
Bellingham has cemented himself as one of the best players in world football since his move from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid in 2023, and Chelsea view him as the ideal player to partner Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez in midfield.
That is according to Spanish publication Fichajes, who claim that Liam Rosenior’s side are ready to submit a €150m proposal for Bellingham in a bid to tempt Real Madrid into a blockbuster sale during the 2026 summer transfer window.
The England international remains an integral player for Los Blancos, having registered 10 goal contributions in 27 games this season, but it’s reported that returning to his homeland is “extremely appealing.”
Furthermore, Chelsea believe that Real Madrid would be willing to sanction a sale if they submit a suitable offer this summer, as per Fichajes.
Jude Bellingham to replace Cole Palmer?
Bellingham still has three-and-a-half years remaining on his current Real Madrid contract, but rumours of increased interest from Chelsea comes amid speculation that his compatriot Cole Palmer could push to leave Stamford Bridge this year.
The England international has endured an injury-hit campaign and multiple reports have stated that he would like to return to Manchester if possible.
FootballTransfers understands that Palmer is viewed as an ideal replacement for Bruno Fernandes by the Manchester United hierarchy, although Chelsea boss Rosenior has been keen to downplay reports of an exit over the past week.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s 3-2 win over Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday night, a match in which Palmer produced two second-half assists, Rosenior told reporters: “It’s simple, Cole’s an incredible player.
“I’m not surprised at the timing. A new manager comes in and all of a sudden there’s people unsettled. It’s not true. Cole’s here, he’s very happy and I can’t wait to see him back on the pitch.
“There’s no reason for assurance. It’s so unrealistic. It’s come from nowhere. There’s nothing in it. There’s no reason to have the conversation. That’s where I’m at. Cole is very happy. I’ve had numerous conversations with him. Our thoughts are on how we can make this team better, how he can improve and how I can help him.
“He loves being here and he wants to be a Chelsea player. You can’t stop speculation, but some speculation is so far from the truth. There’s no point in having a discussion about it.”
