Man Utd offered Arteta favourite in January SWAP deal
Manchester United have been offered an old favourite of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta in a potential January swap deal.
The player in question is Dusan Vlahovic, who Arteta has tried to sign on a number of occasions in the past for the Gunners - in particular in January 2022 when the Serbian rejected Arsenal in order to join Juventus for €80 million.
Vlahovic is now very likely to leave Juve in 2026 after four mixed years at the club.
His contract expires at the end of the season and there are multiple reports that Juventus will try to sell Vlahovic in a cut-price deal in January to avoid losing him for nothing.
Vlahovic to Man Utd?
Football Insider and others already claim that Vlahovic has been offered to Man Utd in January, with the Red Devils considering whether to move for the striker.
And TuttoJuve goes further and says that the Bianconeri may add Joshua Zirkzee into the offer to create an exchange.
The Dutchman has barely featured at all this season, playing more than 10 minutes in just one match. In the last four games he has played a total of 15 minutes.
Zirkzee will be available for sale and Juventus have been fans of the striker since his Bologna days, trying to sign him in the summer of 2024 when he moved to United for €42.5m.
Zirkzee has scored just seven goals in 53 games for United since arriving.
Vlahovic also has not lived up to the promise he showed in Florence, despite still managing a respectful tally of 62 goals in 152 games.
He has had a decent start to the current season, though, with four goals so far.
