Fabrizio Romano reveals January favourites to sign Man Utd flop

West Ham are leading the race to sign Man Utd striker Joshua Zirkzee in January.
That is according to Matteo Moretto in his usual slot on Fabrizio Romano’s Italian YouTube channel.

Moretto says that West Ham have already made advances over the possibility of signing the Dutchman during the January transfer window.
United have not yet given the green light for Zirkzee to leave either permanently or on loan but if he continues to play so little then a move seems likely.
Zirkzee to leave Man Utd?
Roma and Como have also been heavily linked with bringing Zirkzee back to Serie A.
But Moretto says that Como’s interest is only lukewarm.
He does say that we can expect all interested parties, especially those in Serie A, to intensify their advances in the coming weeks.
Zirkzee has played just 82 minutes of football for Man Utd this season.
Zirkzee joined Man Utd in the summer of 2024 in a €42.5 million move from Bologna.
The 23-year-old Zirkzee was one of the standout players in Serie A in the 2023-24 season, leading the club to historic qualification to the Champions League.
He was often compared to former Milan and Barcelona star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
However, he has struggled to show that form at Man Utd and has been criticised for a lack of goal threat.
In total, Zirkzee has made 53 appearances for Utd and scored seven goals.
