Chelsea on RED ALERT as €115m target told he can leave in January
Bournemouth are reportedly “willing” to sell Chelsea target Antoine Semenyo if they receive a €115 million (£100m) offer during the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old has scored six goals and provided four assists in seven Premier League matches so far this season, and his form has attracted the attention of several elite English top flight clubs.
Reports in Spain speculate that Chelsea are preparing to submit a mid-season bid for the Ghana international, amid their continued pursuit of attacking reinforcements, and it has now been claimed that Arsenal and Liverpool are also likely to battle for his signature in January.
That is according to a bombshell report from renowned X account IndyKaila, who posted: “Bournemouth willing to sell Antoine Semenyo in January if their valuation of £100m is met. Arsenal have been informed.
“We understand Liverpool also have been contacted via their sporting director Richard Hughes who has a deep connection with Bournemouth.”
Liverpool signed Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak over the summer, but they failed to land a Luis Diaz replacement following his move to Bayern Munich and Semenyo could be the man to fill that void. Meanwhile, Arsenal are long-term admirers of the Bournemouth star and have been tipped to rekindle their interest in January.
Chelsea target Antoine Semenyo deal
Chelsea bolstered their forward line with the additions of Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Alejandro Garnacho, Liam Delap and Estevao Willian during the summer, however they have reportedly added Semenyo to their transfer wishlist following his immense start to the 2025-26 season.
Erling Haaland (10) is the only player with more goal contributions in the Premier League so far this campaign than the former Bristol City attacker (9) and he is viewed as the “ideal player” to improve the depth available to Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have also been tipped to target a new centre-back during the January transfer window, although the club may opt against pursuing a deal if they can keep Wesley Fofana, Tosin Adarabioyo, Trevoh Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile, Jorrel Hato and Josh Acheampong fully fit.
