The agent of Brentford star Michael Kayode believes that it is 'inevitable' that an 'important' club will sign the in-form full-back.

The 21-year-old has established himself as one of the most promising full-backs in the Premier League since joining Brentford in January. His initial loan was made permanent in the summer, and Kayode is going from strength to strength.

The Italy youth international is a guaranteed starter under Keith Andrews and is earning plaudits for his performances. His long throws have become a deadly weapon for the Bees.

Prior to his move to West London, Kayode was associated with Arsenal, who are said to be long-term admirers of the right-back. The Gunners are currently well-stocked in that department, but the youngster is bound to attract more big-name attention.

Indeed, Andrea Ritorni, head of scouting at Kayode's agency, recently tipped the Italian to eventually play for an elite club, and this claim has now been backed up by the owner of Vigo Global Sport Services.

Kayode's agent expects big offers

Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, Vigo boss Claudio Vigorelli voiced his belief that 'important' offers for Kayode won't be long in coming if he continues to perform at his current level.

“We are very happy because he is growing game by game," Kayode's agent said. "The Premier League is a very physical league, it seems tailor-made for him, and Michael is proving he fits in perfectly.

“It is still very early," Vigorelli insisted when quizzed on a potential move. "Let’s enjoy this great moment he is having, but it is inevitable that if he continues with this trend, something important will arrive for him.”

For now, Kayode is delighted to be at Brentford, which was "a major opportunity that came at a time when he wasn't playing much. We took advantage of it, and after a six-month loan that went very well, the club decided to buy him out, not letting him slip away. That's how it went, and we're all happy."
