The 25-year-old has enjoyed a stellar start to the new Premier League campaign, registering nine goal contributions in nine appearances, and he has attracted substantial transfer interest from every top club in the country.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are among the teams interested in finalising a deal for the Ghana international in 2026, with Bournemouth reportedly expected to receive a plethora of official offers for the forward next summer.

However, The Telegraph have now revealed that Andoni Iraola’s side rejected €57m bids from both Man Utd and Tottenham at the start of the summer transfer window.

Bournemouth earned a whopping €235.9m through sales before the end of Transfer Deadline Day, with Ilya Zabarnyi, Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez and Dango Ouattara among those to depart, however they were reluctant to lose Semenyo and they instead tied him down to a new long-term deal rather than sanctioning a departure.

Despite this, Semenyo is expected to be a hot commodity in 2026 following his flying start to the new season and it has been reported that his new contract includes an unspecified release clause.

Antoine Semenyo to leave Bournemouth?

Liverpool have identified Semenyo as a possible replacement for the ageing Mohamed Salah, while Arsenal are likely to challenge for his signature too as they look to add further attacking reinforcements amid concerns over the long-term futures of Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard.

Bournemouth are eager to maximise the fee they are able to earn through a sale of Semenyo, although the 25-year-old’s personal skills coach Saul Isaksson-Hurst believes a transfer is likely to go through next year.

He told The Mirror in early October: “He’s unbelievable. He’s a Champions League player and was unlucky not to get a move in the summer, but it’s a matter of time before he goes to a big club. There was interest.

“He’s one of the most electric players in the Premier League at the moment. So there’s no ceiling. If you can dominate the Premier League you can dominate any league. He could play for any of the big clubs and make an impact.”
