Arsenal Transfer News Today: Eli Kroupi move greenlit as Gunners lead race for €150m ace
All the latest Arsenal transfer news in one place, including updates on Eli Kroupi, Kenan Yildiz and Martin Odegaard.
Kroupi wants big move
Arsenal target Eli Kroupi has confirmed that he views Bournemouth as a stepping-stone club.
The Frenchman has just returned from a lengthy foot injury and is looking to recapture the stunning form of his debut Premier League season, when he bagged 13 goals in just under 1,700 minutes. This output earned him links to Arsenal and Barcelona over the summer.
And Kroupi has now announced that he intends to play for a club of that stature before long. "I'm going to give my all to play for the biggest clubs in the world, in the best leagues in the world," he said.
Arsenal favourites for Yildiz
Arsenal would be the favourites to sign Kenan Yildiz if Juventus were to open the door to a transfer, Gianluca Di Marzio believes.
The Turkey international has been on the Gunners' radar since his time in Bayern Munich's academy, and there have been various attempts to prise him away from Juventus over the past couple of years. The Bianconeri, however, have always considered him untouchable.
Di Marzio claims that this could change next summer as Juventus need to raise funds. "They signed Kerim Alajbegovic for this position and role because they are preparing for a possible departure of Yildiz," he explained.
"Should Juventus sell Yildiz, his market value will be around €150m, and I think Arsenal are among the clubs most interested in him."
Odegaard surprise
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard would be interested in a move to Bayern Munich, according to Sky Germany.
The German club have been in contact with the Norway international's entourage at various times in recent years, and Odegaard has been receptive to the Bavarians' interest. However, a transfer could only become a possibility if he were to reject a contract extension at Arsenal.
At present, there are no active talks with Bayern, and he is not viewed as a genuine target. This could change should his contract discussions with Arsenal fail. The Gunners would have to sell him next year because his current terms expire in 2028.
Arsenal "serious" about Nusa
Arsenal are "serious" about signing RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa, Tuttomercatoweb claims.
The Norwegian has been linked with the Gunners repeatedly over the past year or so, while there is also long-standing interest from Italian clubs. It is now claimed that Arsenal could step up their pursuit of Nusa in search of a new left-winger.
At present, there is a gap in valuation, with Leipzig asking for as much as €70m. FootballTransfers previously reported that Arsenal do not view Nusa as a priority target for 2027.
