Sancho made a last-minute move to Villa on deadline after United struggled to sell him during the summer transfer window, with the 25-year-old failing to agree terms to join clubs such as Juventus, Chelsea and Roma.

The winger is in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford and, while United have an option to extend his deal, Sancho’s status as one of the highest earners at the club means that they will likely allow him to leave on a free transfer next summer.

And, according to TEAMtalk, Sancho is already attracting significant attention for next summer, with teams from the MLS said to be keen on bringing him to the United States to revive his career.

In particular, teams are said to be attracted by Sancho’s flair and attacking prowess which would make him a marquee signing capable of boosting attendance and global visibility.

Sources close to Sancho allegedly find the switch ‘appealling’ due to the lucrative contracts and lifestyle perks on offer from the MLS, although his future will all depend on how his season at Villa goes.

Elite clubs waiting on Sancho to prove ability at Aston Villa

Clubs across Europe, including Germany and Spain, are said to all have shown preliminary interest in signing Sancho next summer, while some English teams are also believed to be monitoring his progress.

However, elite clubs are remaining cautious and believe Sancho’s season at Villa will be crucial to determine whether he can still perform at the highest level.

Sancho had been holding out for a move to an elite club this summer but, despite Chelsea making an offer to turn his loan into a permanent deal, the former England international was also pursuing wages similar to his salary at Man Utd.

No team had been willing to match his demands, which led to Sancho moving to Villa where they are understood to be covering 80% of his wages, thought to be in excess of €300,000-per week.
