Juventus sign Openda for €40m, Kolo Muani set for Premier League
Juventus have moved to sign Lois Openda from Leipzig in a deal that could now see Randal Kolo Muani move to the Premier League.
Multiple media outlets in Italy, including Fabrizio Romano, confirm that Juventus have agreed a deal to sign Openda from Leipzig for a fee of just over €40 million.
The transfer will be an initial loan with the obligation to buy for the fee mentioned.
Openda has agreed a contract with Juventus until 2030.
Openda to Juventus, Kolo Muani to Premier League
Juventus moved for Openda after their move for first choice striker target Kolo Muani collapsed on Sunday.
The Bianconeri have been working on Muani all summer, with the attacker rejecting all offers from elsewhere in a bid to move to the club permanently.
Kolo Muani has joined Juventus on loan in January from PSG until the end of the 2024-25 season.

He had a positive second half to the campaign in Turin, scoring eight goals in 16 games and played a crucial role in rescuing Champions League qualification for Juve.
Juventus extended his loan to cover the Club World Cup, and hoped to sign him permanently.
But Juventus could not come to an agreement with PSG on a transfer fee and eventually admitted defeat a day before the window closes.
They then moved for Openda, who scored 41 goals in 92 games for Leipzig.
As for Kolo Muani, Romano believes that a Premier League transfer is likely on Deadline Day.
The likes of Tottenham and Newcastle have both been linked with late moves, while Bayern could also be interested after missing out on Nicolas Jackson.
Kolo Muani is one to watch on Deadline Day, with PSG asking for €60m in order to sell.
Muani isn’t part of Luis Enrique’s long-term plans at PSG and the reigning Ligue 1 champions are eager to offload him in an attempt to recoup some of the €95 million transfer fee they paid to sign him in 2023.
