Deadline Day: Every confirmed transfer around Europe
Transfer Deadline Day is officially here and clubs now face a race against time to finalise their business before the window closes tonight.
Several major deals have already been completed so far this summer, including Florian Wirtz’s move to Liverpool and Benjamin Sesko’s transfer to Manchester United, but a number of high-profile signings are still expected to be formalised on Deadline Day.
Unlike in recent years, Europe’s top five leagues have decided to align the closing time of the summer window. Previously, the window shut at different times throughout the evening of Transfer Deadline Day, however the 2025 summer transfer window will officially close at 19:00 BST for all clubs in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Serie A.
Last year, a plethora of huge deals went through on Summer Transfer Deadline Day.
Scott McTominay left Man Utd to join Napoli for €30.5m, with Manuel Ugarte subsequently replacing him at Old Trafford for €50m, Eddie Nketiah joined Crystal Palace and Raheem Sterling completed a loan move from Chelsea to Arsenal.
Meanwhile, on Transfer Deadline Day in January, Nico Gonzalez joined Manchester City for €60m, AC Milan signed Santiago Gimenez for €32m, and Joao Felix, Ben Chilwell, Axel Disasi, Carney Chukwuemeka and Caleb Wiley all left Chelsea on loan.
