Viktor Gyokeres hijack?

Arsenal are expected to complete the signing of Viktor Gyokeres, but Man Utd have hijacked their deal for the Sporting CP striker, as per multiple reports in Portugal.

Mikel Arteta’s side are yet to finalise an agreement over the structure of add-on payments and Man Utd have reportedly lodged a last-minute bid in an attempt to bring Gyokeres to Old Trafford this summer.

However, Romano has revealed that Gyokeres has set his sights on joining Arsenal, with a move to Man Utd currently ruled out.

Nicolas Jackson talks confirmed

Manchester United have held talks with Nicolas Jackson’s representatives as they consider a possible bid for the Chelsea striker this summer.

As exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers back in May, Man Utd are among the clubs interested in signing Jackson this summer, and Chelsea will consider a sale following the arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.

BBC Sport reporter Nizaar Kinsella has now revealed that initial negotiations have taken place between Man Utd and Jackson’s agent, Ali Barat.

Chelsea’s long-standing interest in Alejandro Garnacho may reportedly play a role in a possible move for Jackson, with reports suggesting that a swap deal could be on the cards.
