Chelsea to receive SHOCK €100m double bid
Bayern Munich are willing to submit a €100 million bid to sign Chelsea duo Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto, according to a bombshell report in Spain.
The Bundesliga giants are eager to add significant reinforcements this summer and they have reportedly identified Nkunku and Gusto as two key targets as they aim to bolster the squad available to Vincent Kompany next campaign.
Nkunku has been heavily linked with an Allianz Arena switch for several months, amid his inability to break into Enzo Maresca’s first-choice starting XI, while Gusto has seemingly emerged as an option at right-back.
The Frenchman endured a tough 2024-25 campaign, but he has been heavily favoured at the 2025 Club World Cup and with his current deal at Stamford Bridge not due to expire until 2030, Chelsea are unlikely to sanction a sale.
Despite this, Bayern have identified him as a top transfer target for this summer as they look to provide Kompany with a squad capable of challenging for the Champions League.
In fact, the Bavarians are willing to pay €100m in order to sign both Nkunku and Gusto this summer, as per Fichajes.
The Spanish outlet claim that Bayern have initiated talks with Chelsea and their interest in both players has been described as “serious.”
Chelsea to sell Nkunku and Gusto?
Nkunku is expected to leave Chelsea this summer, following a disappointing two-year spell in west London, although Gusto seems fairly likely to remain at Stamford Bridge, especially with Josh Acheampong linked with a loan exit.
Maresca’s side have turned their attention to finalising the sales of multiple unwanted stars and Nkunku is one of several players who is set to be offloaded by the reigning Europa Conference League winners.
Joao Felix and Axel Disasi are also expected to depart, while Noni Madueke is on the verge of joining Arsenal for a fee in excess of €58m.
