Victor Osimhen Transfer News Today: Fans go wild as priority destination revealed

Victor Osimhen’s stunning decision to turn down a contract from Al-Hilal has left the Napoli striker’s future once again uncertain, with interest remaining from Manchester United and a new Premier League club.
Man Utd have two conditions for a deal
Osimhen remains on the shortlist of Man Utd, a team that is known to be desperate to sign a high-quality No.9 with a proven goal scoring record.
While the Nigeria international ticks these boxes, there have previously been concerns reported that the Red Devils are wary of his wage demands.
Nevertheless, according to United District a move is possible on two conditions. Firstly, Osimhen has to have a “genuine interest” in moving to Old Trafford, despite the lack of Champions League football.
The second demand that Man Utd have is that Osimhen drops his wage demands to what is described as a "realistic level”. It has been reported that he has been asking for €13 million per year on top of his transfer fee, which will be around the €70m mark.
United could use Joshua Zirkzee as a makeweight to drop the transfer fee, however.
Osimhen’s priority revealed
Osimhen wants to move to the Premier League, according to transfer expert Graeme Bailey speaking to United In Focus.
He says: “We’ve known about United and Osimhen for months, and it is genuine interest,” he says.
“United have known his wage demands and that he is prioritising a move to England for months; he has always wanted a Premier League move.
“He knows United are an option and he wants to come to England.”
This is, of course, positive for the Red Devils as it seems that Osimhen fulfils the first condition of their two previously mentioned demands.
Liverpool open Osimhen talks
Another possibility for Osimhen in the Premier League are Liverpool, who GiveMeSport claims have made a “serious target” this summer after “high level” discussions at Anfield.
Manager Arne Slot believes his team are weak in attack and is therefore looking to replace Darwin Nunez in attack.
The Reds are already in the midst of a highly ambitious summer transfer window, with Florian Wirtz ready to arrive from Bayer Leverkusen in a record deal and Milos Kerkez set to join from Bournemouth.
Osimhen could be their latest addition, with the Nigeria international star now being seriously discussed by Liverpool as a replacement for the misfiring Nunez.

Osimhen sends fans wild
Juventus fans have been sent into a social media frenzy after images of Osimhen with Nigerian artist Odumobudlvck were reposted by him on Instagram stories.
The striker had been linked to Juve earlier this year but it was thought that he would be too expensive for them.
This has sparked wild interest from supporters who believe it could be a hint that Osimhen will soon hook up with them, Tuttosport claims.
Napoli return rumour emerges
While a transfer for Osimhen is widely expected, a rumour is circulating around Naples that he could be willing to return to Napoli.
Gennaro Montuori, a high-profile and well-connected Napoli fan, made a surprising to CalcioNapoli24TV (via MSN). He said: “Kevin De Bruyne is a very important signing, but not the most important in De Laurentiis' history; we must not forget people of the calibre of Cavani, Higuain and Mertens.
“I have information on Victor Osimhen, he would like to return to play for Napoli, he is having direct contact with Antonio Conte".
