Florian Wirtz’s true Liverpool salary revealed as star’s parents land a FORTUNE

Florian Wirtz stands to earn big with his new Liverpool contract, but Fabrizio Romano has cleared up any confusion over the player’s deal.
Reports had indicated that the Germany international, who is expected to complete a move to Anfield imminently for a British record transfer fee, would smash the salary structure of the Merseyside club.
Romano says, however, that Wirtz, who currently plays with Bayer Leverkusen, will fit neatly into the salary structure already in place at Liverpool.

“His salary will be in the region of £200,000 per week plus bonuses,” Romano explained on X. “Reports of higher salary are not confirmed as it will fit Liverpool’s current structure.”
Wirtz, whose contract will run until at least 2030, joins Liverpool as one of their top earners, but his salary will only be slightly greater than the one earned by Trent Alexander-Arnold last season. Meanwhile, he will slot in behind long-established superstars Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.

Wirtz family lands a transfer windfall
With a deal for Wirtz expected to fetch a minimum of €140 million, including €15m in realistic bonuses, the player’s family will land a jackpot.
As the 22-year-old acted without an agent, he was represented by his parents, Hans and Karin. As they did this without any external advice, they will receive the usual commission of 10% of their son’s salary.
Wirtz’s parents, therefore, stand to earn over €10m over the course of the next five years while their son is a Liverpool player, Bild reports.
This is no new arrangement. They have followed him throughout his career, with his mother watching him at training during his younger days while his father handled the negotiations with clubs.
Wirtz has benefited tremendously from this support, with the German source stating that it has allowed him to concentrate fully on football.
