Chelsea Transfer News Today: Agreement reached as €60m signing expected

All the latest Chelsea transfer news in one place, including updates on Jamie Gittens, Jorrel Hato and Malo Gusto.
Exclusive: Arsenal in pole position for Hato

FootballTransfers understands that Arsenal are the current favourites to sign Ajax wonderkid Jorrel Hato, although Chelsea remain interested in the Netherlands international.
The Gunners are set to meet Hato's camp on Tuesday to formalise talks over a potential transfer, with Ajax reportedly holding out for a €50 million fee.
Hato is understood to be keen on a move to Arsenal, leaving Chelsea and his other suitors in a disadvantaged position.
Gittens agreement still in place

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has once again reiterated that Chelsea have an agreement on personal terms with Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens.
The England youth international agreed a seven-year contract with the Blues in the initial Club World Cup transfer window, but no deal was struck with Dortmund.
The agreement with the player remains in place, and Chelsea are fully expected to reopen talks with Dortmund in the near future, likely after one of the two sides exits the Club World Cup.
Dortmund boss on Gittens
Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has been forced to address the speculation surrounding Gittens following reports that Bayern Munich have reignited their interest in the 20-year-old.
However, Kehl insists that he has not held talks with his Bayern counterpart Max Eberl. It should be noted, though, that the reports stated that Eberl had initiated contact with Gittens' camp rather than Dortmund.
Gittens remains keen on a move to Chelsea, so Bayern are unlikely to have success in their pursuit of the winger unless a deal with the Blues again fails to materialise.
Man Utd back in for Nkunku

Man Utd are once again considering a move for Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku, with whom talks were already held back in the January transfer window.
Nkunku is expected to leave Chelsea this summer after failing to secure a move in the winter, with Man Utd now having made fresh contact with the player.
Chelsea demanded a whopping €70m fee in January, so it remains to be seen if a deal is feasible from United's point of view.
Gusto not joining Bayern

Bayern have been linked with a move for Chelsea full-back Malo Gusto in recent days, but the German media is downplaying suggestions that the Munich outfit are actively looking to sign the Frenchman.
Gusto has drawn the ire of the Blues fanbase in recent weeks as his performance levels have dropped off significantly compared to his promising debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.
However, as things stand, it looks unlikely that he will be departing West London anytime soon.
