Arsenal have enjoyed another fantastic season under Mikel Arteta and their recent signings have shone yet again.

Jurrien Timber has missed the entire campaign after suffering an ACL injury in the opening Premier League match of the season, but Declan Rice has been an overwhelming success and Kai Havertz has grown as the year has progressed.

The Gunners already have a stacked first-team squad, however they are set to add several players this summer. Below, FootballTransfers runs through 10 players who could join Arsenal ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Ousmane Diomande (Sporting)

Sporting CP centre-back Ousmane Diomande has been linked with almost every elite European club over the past six months and Arsenal are one of the clubs reportedly interested in signing him.

With William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes currently first-choice at the Emirates Stadium, however, a move may be different to pull off.

Jorrel Hato (Arsenal)

According to multiple reports, Arsenal have identified Ajax wonderkid Jorrel Hato as a key transfer target as they look to bolster their defence.

However, a move has been deemed unlikely to happen unless Jakub Kiwior is sold this summer.

Joao Cancelo (Man City)

Manchester City have sold both Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal in recent years, and Joao Cancelo could be the next player to join Mikel Arteta in north London.

The Gunners have been continuously linked with a move for the Portuguese international, but some reports suggest that Man City will refuse to sell him to Arsenal in order to avoid strengthening their title rivals.

Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad)

Martin Zubimendi is seen as the ideal defensive midfielder by Arteta, as per reports, and he has been touted for a move to Arsenal for several months.

Bayern Munich’s failure to bring in Xabi Alonso as head coach has also weakened their position in the race to sign the Spaniard, meaning Arsenal may have a free run at him this summer.

Joshua Kimmich (Bayern)

FootballTransfers understands that Bayern Munich superstar Joshua Kimmich is the subject of Arsenal’s interest and he is regarded as a concrete target by the Gunners.

He has recently hinted at a possible Bayern departure and Arsenal are expected to ramp up potential negotiations once the current campaign ends.

Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa)

Aston Villa are determined to keep hold of Douglas Luiz and that will prove problematic in Arsenal’s pursuit of the Brazil international.

However, the Gunners remain interested in completing a deal, which means it is still a possibility for this summer.

Pedro Neto (Wolves)

Pedro Neto is one of Arsenal’s clear transfer targets ahead of the summer window, while Raphinha and Nico Williams have also been linked.

The Wolves star has endured multiple injury issues this season, but his talent is unquestionable and Arsenal are interested in bringing him in as cover for Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.

Benjamin Sesko (RB Leipzig)

Benjamin Sesko is still very raw, but the RB Leipzig forward evidently has bundles of talent and Arsenal are one of his greatest admirers.

He is unlikely to arrive as a clear number one striker, however Arteta is clearly a fan of the youngster and a summer move is on the cards.

Ivan Toney (Brentford)

Ivan Toney has been perennially linked with a Brentford exit and Arsenal has been labelled as his most likely destination for some time.

However, every top Premier League club has also registered interest in the England international and the Gunners will be forced to fork out a far chunk of money to sign him.

Viktor Gyokeres (Sporting)

Sporting CP goal machine Viktor Gyokeres is currently Arsenal’s priority summer transfer target, as exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers.

The Sweden international could cost up to €100m, however he is the primary number nine target as things stand. He has already hit the half century mark for goals and assists so far this season and is regarded as one of the best strikers in world football.
