Manchester United have set their price range for Jadon Sancho, according to German media.

The Red Devils outcast seems to have overcome his form slump and the hype surrounding Sancho is ramping up again in light of two encouraging performances. The winger, who hadn't played since the summer prior to his loan arrival at Borussia Dortmund, has now scored two goals in two games and impressed with his overall play.

After re-opening his BVB account against Werder Bremen last weekend, Sancho put in a standout performance against runaway Eredivisie leaders PSV in the Champions League, sending a clear message to Erik ten Hag and Man Utd in the process.

While two good performances obviously don't mean that the Sancho of old is back, the 23-year-old has nevertheless shown that he can still perform at the highest level and Borussia Dortmund are naturally keen to keep their erstwhile wonderkid.

Man Utd's asking price

Previously, it had been reported that the Black and Yellow had hatched a secret plan to sign Sancho permanently. One of the potential offers would have been a swap deal with Donyell Malen, whom Man Utd were interested in in January, as FootballTransfers revealed. Man Utd, however, have no intention to entertain such an offer. They want cash.

In light of this, BILD now reports that the Red Devils have named their price range for Sancho, with the report claiming that the Red Devils are 'desperate to get rid' of the winger. As a result, they are willing to incur a sizeable loss.

United paid €85 million to sign him from Dortmund in 2021, but it is asserted that they would be ready to sell for a fee in the region of €35m-€40m. If Dortmund were to show themselves willing to negotiate for such a significant sum, Sancho could become their record signing, which to this day is still Ousmane Dembele, who was signed from Rennes for €35m in 2016.
