Friday was another busy day in the world of football transfers, as we were able to exclusively reveal Newcastle's interest in Jonathan Tah.

Alongside that, Real Madrid have put the brakes on selling Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe jerseys, while Arsenal have drawn up a three-man shortlist should Ivan Toney prove unobtainable.

FootballTransfers was able to exclusively reveal that Newcastle are lining up a move for Bayer Leverkusen and Germany centre-back Jonathan Tah.

The Toon have also reportedly made Manchester City and England midfielder Kalvin Phillips a 'top priority' in the coming winter transfer window.

Real Madrid's Haaland ban

Real Madrid fans were banned from ordering club jerseys with "Haaland" or "Mbappe" on the back this Christmas, according to reports in Spain.

Arsenal's Toney alternatives

Ivan Toney was Arsenal's top transfer target ahead of the winter transfer window, but the Gunners have shifted their focus to Victor Osimhen, Lautaro Martinez and Viktor Gyokeres with Brentford determined to hold onto their star striker.

The Gunners also want to sign Georgiy Sudakov, but Chelsea and two other clubs have now joined the race for the Shakhtar Donetsk talent.
