Victor Lindelof proved the unlikeliest of heroes for Manchester United on Saturday, coming to Erik ten Hag's rescue in the nick of time to seal victory over Luton.
The Dutch manager was under immense pressure going into the weekend game at Old Trafford after suffering three defeats in United's last four matches.

But on another tough day for the Red Devils, his Swedish centre-back came up big, smashing home from close range to seal a 1-0 victory in the second half.
Reports suggested that another reverse could have spelled the end for the former Ajax boss, but thanks to Lindelof he will live to fight another day - proving a few fans wrong in the process.

Even before kick-off at Old Trafford, Ten Hag was under fire for choosing Lindelof over newly fit Raphael Varane.
