Revealed: Man Utd may be forced to pay €110m for Brazilian wonderkid duo
Manchester United may have to pay a combined €110 million for Brazilian teenagers Luis Guilherme and Lorran.
The Red Devils are interested in signing the pair as they look to bolster the young talent at Old Trafford, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
He recently told his YouTube channel: “Keep an eye on Man Utd in South America because in recent weeks, Man Utd, as I told you, sent their scouts - as well as Chelsea - to follow Lorran from Flamengo, this talented Brazilian boy. Man Utd scouts were in attendance to follow this player.”

“But from what I'm hearing, there is also one more player being monitored by Man Utd - Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras. One more Brazilian talent.”
“So, someone from Man Utd's scouting department is travelling around Brazil to keep an eye on these players.
“Let's see what's going to happen because, for example, on Luis Guilherme, there are more than five important European clubs from Germany, from England, from different countries, so work in progress on that one.”

Mundo Deportivo reported back in 2022 that Guilherme has a €60m release clause in his current Palmeiras deal.
On the other hand, Romano has previously reported that Lorran's release clause at Flamengo is €50m.
As a result, the Red Devils may be forced to cough up a combined €110m if they want to sign the Brazilian duo.
South America: A hotbed for talent
South American talent have regularly moved to Europe in recent years, with Chelsea currently deploying a midfield duo of Moises Caicedo (Ecuador) and Enzo Fernandez (Argentina), while Real Madrid have a wing pairing of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo (both Brazil).
Brazil is currently enjoying a boom in talent in general. Angelo and Deivid Washington joined Chelsea this summer, and Endrick and Vitor Roque are set to join Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively in 2024.
