Wednesday delivered some good news for Chelsea fans as the Blues received a big Victor Osimhen boost.

Plus, Manchester United and Erik ten Hag are once again under pressure following another embarrassing loss and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was brutally ridiculed amid the ongoing VAR controversy. There's plenty to cover, so let's jump right in.

Chelsea's boost

The Blues will have a free run at Victor Osimhen as their biggest European competition for his signature has dropped away.

Additionally, Chelsea are eyeing a 15-year-old wonderkid, but they face competition from Man Utd and a host of other clubs.

Man Utd's crisis?

Speaking of the (Red) Devil, Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag has been slammed over his use of summer signing Sofyan Amrabat.

Fellow signing Andre Onana, meanwhile, did not cover himself in glory (again) and some are clamouring for David de Gea to return.

Even former Real Madrid defensive giant Raphael Varane hasn't been spared from harsh criticism.

Arsenal disaster

Man Utd weren't the only Premier League side to get humiliated in the Champions League as Arsenal suffered the same fate - is the English top flight the real 'farmer's league?'

During the Gunners' game against Lens, Mikel Arteta had the chance to make good on a promise, but he got cold feet.

Moreover, the loss highlighted a big issue with the Gunners' squad building and it could cost them dearly in the title race.

Klopp mocked

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp suggested that the controversial game between his side and Tottenham should be replayed and he was brutally mocked for it.

Replaying this fixture because of a refereeing error would set a dangerous precedent.

Klopp did, however, get the backing of Pep Guardiola who laid into the standard of refereeing himself.

Transfer news

Finally, let's finish up with some more transfer news from around the world. Despite Rasmus Hojlund starting like a house on fire, Man Utd want to sign another highly-rated striker.

Juventus will receive the final verdict on Paul Pogba's B sample tomorrow and they have a January replacement lined up should he indeed get suspended.

Santiago Gimenez is wanted by a bunch of big clubs in Europe - here's why.

But his recent Real Madrid comments will worry the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea.

Speaking of Real, one of their other targets is set to disappoint Los Blancos, Man Utd and Barcelona.

Man Utd are also set to be rejected by one of the Premier League's best wingers.

Barcelona, meanwhile, are themselves looking at a winger and he may just be the most in-form player in his position in Europe right now.

The Blaugrana are also targeting two Brazilian wonderkids - and one of them is on the books at Chelsea.

Lastly, it has been revealed that Real Madrid target Alphonso Davies is in contact with a Los Blancos player ahead of a potential move.
