Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Sergio Reguilon is joining the club and that new signing Rasmus Hojlund is 'ready to start' against Arsenal.

It appears that the Red Devils will have a happy end to their transfer window after all. After the three major signings of Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Hojlund, Altay Bayindir has now joined the club to replace Dean Henderson, while Tottenham's Sergio Reguilon arrives to deputise for the injured Luke Shaw.

Moreover, United have, at last, managed to strike a deal that will see Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat head to Old Trafford on loan. It completes a summer window that will go down as a successful one should things work out for Ten Hag from here on out - if not, however, the Dutchman will be questioned given that United mightily splashed the cash.

Ten Hag, for his part, has given Man Utd fans plenty to be excited about in his latest press conference.

What did Ten Hag say?

Speaking to the media ahead of Sunday's exciting clash against Arsenal, Ten Hag confirmed that Sergio Reguilon is a Manchester United player. "He is here, he trained," Ten Hag said. "Yes [he will be available]."

The Red Devils faithful will also be delighted to learn that Rasmus Hojlund is in line to make his long-awaited debut after recovering from a back injury.

DEADLINE DAY: Every confirmed transfer around Europe

"Yes, so we had a good training week and tomorrow we have the final training," the Dutchman announced. "He is doing well so he will be available. I think he is ready to start."

The Man Utd boss did refuse to give an update on the Amrabat situation, however. "You know that [he will sign]? There are so many rumours. I don’t know if he [will] sign. If we have news we will report it immediately."
