'He's not my PT!' - Chalobah SHOOTS DOWN Chelsea claims

Trevoh Chalobah has dismissed claims reportedly made by his personal trainer about conditions at Chelsea, tweeting that the person in question isn't even employed by him.

Chalboah has had a difficult start to the season with Chelsea. The academy graduate was close to a move to Bayern Munich in the summer, and since that fell through, is yet to start a game under Mauricio Pochettino.

He has since joined a lengthy injury list at Stamford Bridge, and a Twitter storm developed recently when a leaked Instagram post from Ed Hodge - supposedly Chalobah's personal trainer - detailed shortcomings at Cobham.

"Absolute mess," he said of an injury list that as well as Chalobah now includes summer arrivals Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku, as well as Reece James, Carney Chukwuemeka, Benoit Badiashile and Noni Madueke.

But in response to a report that Hodge has been banned from Chelsea's Cobham training ground, Chalobah simple responded with a quote tweet stating: "He is not my pt."

Injury crisis

Employed by Chalobah or not, Hodge's point might have struck a chord. The Blues have 12 players on the sidelines, all told, and sit 14th in the Premier League table after five games played.

Chalobah was linked with a move to Serie A pair Inter Milan and Roma last summer, as well as Tottenham Hotspur, and an exit from Stamford Bridge would appear to be on the cards.

A number of academy graduates left the club this summer, with Mason Mount (to Manchester United), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (AC Milan), Ethan Ampadu (Leeds) and Callum Hudson-Odoi (Nottingham Forest) commanding the biggest fees.

In total, Chelsea made more than £230 million in player sales this summer, keeping the spectre of UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations at bay.

Chalobah is valued at €37.6m (£32.7m) by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm, and would add a significant amount to that pot should he leave.
