The summer transfer window is really hitting top gear with some massive stories in the last 24 hours - none bigger than Arsenal plotting an incredible swoop for Kylian Mbappe.

* Arsenal are considering an incredible swoop for PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe - FootballTransfers can exclusively reveal. The brilliant French forward is admired by the Premier League club, who are considering whether or not to send a package to the Frenchman’s representatives.

* Midfielder Thomas Partey has informed Mikel Arteta that he wants to leave Arsenal. Partey does not want to play second fiddle next season, we are told, and has requested that the Premier League side help him look for another club.

* Controversial broadcaster and Arsenal superfan Piers Morgan says the Gunners should 'break the bank' to sign €150m Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

* Arsenal will allow Granit Xhaka to leave once they complete the £105million deal for West Ham captain Declan Rice - but Bayer Leverkusen might have to improve their offer.

* Arsenal have managed to hang onto teenage wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri despite interest from Chelsea and Man City. He has signed a record scholarship contract for the Gunners (Fabrizio Romano).

* Pablo Marí has left Arsenal to join Monza on permanent deal for a fee of around £6m.

* Manchester United's negotiations with Inter over an Andre Onana transfer are 'progressing quickly,' according to Italian media. A first official bid is imminent (DiMarzio).

* Marcus Rashford is among PSG's forward targets as they earmark 200m to bolster their attacking options with the future of Mbappe very much undecided. Top priority though remains Harry Kane, with Randal Kolo Muani and Victor Osimhen also on the list of possibles (Le Parisien).

* Sir Jim Ratcliffe attempted to acquire a 50 per cent stake in Barcelona, a new book reveals. The INEOS chief, currently embroiled in a heated battle with Sheikh Jassim for ownership of Man Utd, has previously tried to invest in the Blaugrana, as revealed by a new book and relayed by The Times.

* Man Utd may have landed Mason Mount but they are still keen on signing another star midfielder to go along with the Chelsea and England man. Erik ten Hag sees bolstering his options in the centre of the pitch as a major focus this summer. (FootballTransfers Exclusive).

* Man Utd have allowed David de Gea's contract to expire but bizarrely have asked him NOT to join another club. The thinking is they want him available if they cannot sign a replacement (The Sun).

* Inter Milan say Chelsea must decide what they want to do with striker Romelu Lukaku amid interest from both the Nerazzurri and Saudi Arabia.

* The Blues have completed a €35 million deal for 22-year-old Villarreal forward Nicolas Jackson in what could be one of the new season's biggest bargain moves.

* Chelsea are ready to substantially up their offer for Brighton star Moises Caicedo, having reached an agreement to sell Mason Mount to Manchester United.The Blues have already had a £60m bid rejected for the Ecuador midfielder, 21 - who Arsenal tried, and failed, to sign from the Seagulls for £75m in January.

* Marc Cucurella's agent has rubbished as "fake news" rumours linking his client with Atletico Madrid.

* Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga is another midfield target for Chelsea as they look to find replacements after the exit of Mount to Man Utd.

* Atletico Madrid are signing Chelsea defender César Azpilicueta on a two-year contract (Fabrizio Romano).

* Chelsea's summer clearout continues with the departures of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and young midfielder Charlie Webster. Loftus-Cheek has completed a €16m transfer to AC Milan while Webster will spend next season on loan with Dutch side Heerenveen.

* Barcelona star Pedri has slammed reports linking him with a move to PSG and former Barca coach Luis Enrique (Sport).

* Barca are hoping to sign young Turkish sensation Arda Guler from Fenerbahce. The Catalan giants are not allowed to do deals for the upcoming season but can sign Guler for 2024 onwards. He is available for a very reasonable €17.5m release clause (Marca).
