Cristiano Ronaldo’s fall out at Manchester United appears to be influencing his teammates, in particular captain Harry Maguire, who ‘liked’ a post on social media that described the forward as 'upset'.

Ronaldo has reportedly been unimpressed by Maguire during his time at Old Trafford and the speculation surrounding the two has only been fuelled by Maguire’s like, which has since been undone.

Ronaldo and Maguire are not the first co-workers to perhaps not get along with each other, nor will they be the last, and FootballTransfers takes a look at some other famous bust-ups between teammates.

Samir Nasri and Emmanuel Frimpong

Emmanuel Frimpong summed up his relationship with Samir Nasri in a recent interview: “For me, the truth is I’ve never liked him and I will never, ever like this guy. Even if he gives me five billion dollars, I will still not like him.”

The feud began when Frimpong, making just his second league appearance for Arsenal, got sent off in a loss to Liverpool, prompting Nasri to blame the defeat on the 19-year-old in the dressing room.

The pair even argued on the phone, with Nasri calling Frimpong and threatening him, resulting in the Ghanian simply claiming he doesn’t respect his former teammate as a man or a player.

Jamie Carragher and El-Hadji Diouf

To describe El-Hadji Diouf’s career as ‘controversial’ would perhaps be selling it short and his attitude on and off the pitch did not sit well with Liverpool teammate Jamie Carragher.

"The worst teammate has to be El Hadji Diouf, actually, I quite enjoyed playing against him as you could kick him then – can’t kick your own players.” Carragher once said.

The feeling appears to be mutual as Diouf has previously described Carragher as a ‘turkey’ and a ‘f*****g loser’, while also criticising Steven Gerrard, highlighting just how popular he was on Merseyside.

Mauro Icardi and Maxi Lopez

While most of these bust-ups stem from football issues, the same cannot be said for Mauro Icardi and Maxi Lopez, who had a well-documented fall out during their time at Sampdoria.

Lopez had invited Icardi to live at his home with him but later discovered the young striker had began an affair with his wife, Wanda Nara.

Icardi eventually married Nara, who is now his agent and Lopez refused to shake his former friend’s hand when the two came up against each other in a match in 2014.

William Gallas and Kolo Toure

Not much is known as to why William Gallas and Kolo Toure were not fond of each other but the Arsenal defenders allegedly never even spoke on the pitch when they were partnered with each other.

Gallas reportedly had given Toure a dressing down after a game against Aston Villa and the Ivorian felt it the situation was irreparable, especially after manager Arsene Wenger refused to support him.

In the end Toure chose to leave Arsenal for Manchester City in order to resolve the issue, believing it was only harming the club to have a player feuding with Gallas, the club captain.

Andy Cole and Teddy Sheringham

Andy Cole and Teddy Sheringham were a prolific partnership for Man Utd in the 90s but the duo never saw eye-to-eye during their four years together at Old Trafford.

The feud began when Cole was due to be subbed on for his England debut but instead of wishing his nervous replacement good luck, Sheringham snubbed his handshake and stormed down the tunnel.

The duo had run-ins during their time at United and Cole even recently said he would rather share a cuppa with Neil Ruddock, the man who broke his leg, than Sheringham.
