No player has had more money spent on transfer fees for his services than Belgian and current Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku.

As of February 2022, Lukaku has made five permanent transfers, with a total cumulative sum of a staggering €335 million.

With all of those moves has come some astronomical salaries, with Lukaku playing for some of the world’s top football clubs in Chelsea (twice), Manchester United and Inter Milan.

Lukaku has become a star in a golden age for Belgium, representing his country over 100 times and shining across Europe, most recently winning a Serie A title and Player of the Year honours with Inter in the 2020/21 season.

After his blockbuster move from Inter in the summer of 2021, that figure puts him significantly ahead of all of his Chelsea teammates and makes him the sixth highest-paid player in the entire Premier League.

Lukaku is currently sponsored by Nike, which goes hand in hand with Chelsea’s deal with the sportswear giant. The Belgian wears Nike football boots, specifically the Mercurial cleats, on the pitch when playing for both club and country.

The star striker had previously worn Puma boots between 2018 and 2020 and was also once wearing Adidas cleats before signing a deal with Nike.

In the early months of 2022, Lukaku signed a sponsorship deal with Beyond Meat Europe, a food company that makes plant-based meat products, and appeared to have struck a deal with Maserati while sporting a brand-new ride on his Instagram page.

Lukaku is also an ambassador for companies like Crocs and Therabody, while he has also appeared in advertisements for Amazon Prime Video to promote their Premier League coverage.
