The clock is ticking down on the 2022 transfer window after the biggest spending summer in football history.

June 10 was the day that the biggest clubs around the continent were finally able to swoop for talent, and they have not disappointed.

The Premier League have smashed the €2 billion mark when it comes to incoming players.

Chelsea have spent more than €300m, while Nottingham Forest have bought over 20 players after getting promoted.

There have been three €100m signings in Europe in the form of Antony to Man Utd, Aurelien Tchouameni to Real Madrid and Darwin Nunez to Liverpool.

And there is still time for a few more deals to go through on Deadline Day, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang likely to move to Chelsea with Marcos Alonso going the other way.

When does the summer transfer window close?

Premier League

The Premier League transfer window will officially close on Thursday 1 September at 11pm local time.

This will keep the Premier League in line with Europe's other major competitions.

La Liga

Spain's La Liga transfer window closes on Thursday 1 September at 22:00 BST.

Serie A

Italy's Serie A transfer window closes on Thursday 1 September at 19:00 BST.

Bundesliga

The German Bundesliga's transfer window closes on Thursday 1 September at 5pm BST.

Ligue 1

Ligue 1's transfer window closes on Thursday 1 September at 23:00 BST.
