Lukaku tipped to score SIX goals against Arsenal
Romelu Lukaku is set to make his long-awaited second Chelsea debut on Sunday against Arsenal at the Emirates.
Football Transfers ran a poll earlier this week asking readers to vote on how many goals Lukaku would score in the match.
As of Sunday morning, the most popular option was two goals, which took home 44% of the vote.
The second most popular option was one goal, with 34% believing the 28-year will find the net just the once.
But, incredibly, the third most popular option was six goals! Perhaps, some of the replies were tongue-in-cheek but 14% of readers believe Lukaku will hit a double-hattrick against Arsenal.
Lukaku signed for the Blues from Inter last week for a club record €115 million (£97m).
It is a return to west London for the Belgian striker, who already was contracted to the Blues earlier in his career from 2011 to 2014.
Lukaku is tipped for big things having developed into one of the world’s most feared strikers over the last couple of years.
And he is set to make his Chelsea debut on Sunday, leading the line for Thomas Tuchel’s men.
Lukaku is precisely the kind of opponent that a confidence-hit Arsenal team would prefer not to face.
Manager Mikel Arteta is already under heavy pressure having lost his first game of the season 2-0 at a Brentford side making their first appearance in the top-flight for 74 years.
Chelsea have begun the season wonderfully, thrashing Crystal Palace 3-0 in their Premier League opener and bringing home the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla.
Will their great start continue on Sunday evening and will Lukaku make it five debuts in a row that he has scored in?
