Man Utd explore Baleba move
Man Utd explored the conditions of a potential January move for Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba on Friday, according to Sky Sports.
However, a mid-season move is deemed unlikely for the Cameroon international, who is currently away at the Africa Cup of Nations. Brighton CEO Paul Barber confirmed on Saturday that the 22-year-old is not for sale.
"No call from Old Trafford," he said in response to Friday's reports. "No call from anyone connected to Manchester United. We have no plans or desire to sell Carlos in this window, or in any future window."
Liverpool agree first 2026 signing
Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign teenage centre-back Ifeanyi Ndukwe from Austria Vienna, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 17-year-old will join the Reds after turning 18 in the summer, having snubbed interest from various Bundesliga and Serie A clubs last year to stay in Austria.
Ndukwe impressed for Austria at the recent U17 World Cup and is expected to slot into Liverpool's U21s upon his arrival.
Real Madrid to repeat Mbappe trick with Rodri?
Real Madrid are interested in Man City midfielder Rodri, according to MARCA.
The 2024 Ballon d'Or winner has 18 months remaining on his contract, and Los Blancos are confident that they can convince him not to sign a new contract at the Etihad.
They previously employed this strategy with Kylian Mbappe and believe that Rodri could be receptive to a switch to the Spanish capital.
Chelsea plot €150m double deal
Chelsea are interested in signing Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri and Aston Villa superstar Morgan Rogers, according to CaughtOffside.
Both are on the Blues' radar for 2026, but it is thought to be unlikely that they could make a move for either in January. Arsenal are reluctant to lose Nwaneri to a local rival, while Rogers recently signed an improved deal at Aston Villa.
Nevertheless, both players have been earmarked as marquee additions for this year.
