Cristiano Ronaldo's short time at Al-Nassr has already had plenty of ups and downs, and now the superstar has been slammed for his arrogance by one of his opponents.

In terms of performances on the pitch, the 38-year-old has started like a house on fire in Saudi Arabia, scoring pretty much a goal a game in his eleven league outings thus far. Despite his impressive goalscoring record, there are questions about whether he does enough work for the team.

Off the pitch, moreover, there has already been plenty of drama. The Portuguese legend reportedly played a part in the sacking of head coach Rudi Garcia and he was recently spotted lambasting another member of the coaching staff.

Indeed, his time in Saudi Arabia hasn't all been rosy. Having suffered a 2-0 defeat against hated rivals Al-Hilal, Ronaldo and his teammates find themselves three points off the top of the league standings, and they were also knocked out of the King Cup of Champions by 10-man, relegation-battling Al-Wehda in their most recent game.

Sore loser Ronaldo

Ronaldo was clearly frustrated after the Al-Wehda fixture and one of his opponents on the day has now revealed that the 38-year-old was in no mood to give the winners their due credit.

In an interview with L'Equipe, Jean-David Beauguel, who scored the winner, said that he had the opportunity to speak to Ronaldo after the game, but the former Manchester United man simply ignored him.

"I was a little disappointed," Beauguel said. "At the end of the match, I told him that I was a big fan and asked him for his jersey. He shook my hand without really looking at me, with a very contemptuous air."

"I remained silent," the journeyman striker added, "because I grew up watching him. I still remember the videos of him that I watched in college. I understand that he was disappointed after the defeat, that he is a great competitor, but his attitude surprised me. Even on the pitch, he was annoyed, he yelled at his teammates."
