Paris Saint-Germain are expected to lose Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer this summer, with the France international poised to join Real Madrid when his contract at the Parc des Princes expires at the end of June.

With Mbappe set to leave, Luis Enrique’s side will need to add reinforcements as they look to continue challenging for an elusive Champions League trophy.

The lack of a transfer fee attached with Mbappe’s proposed exit could impact their ability to spend in the market, but PSG have been linked with several big names as they look to usher in a new era without their talisman.

Leny Yoro (Lille)

Leny Yoro is regarded as one of the most exciting young defenders in world football and he is expected to leave Lille this summer amid interest from several elite European clubs.

Real Madrid are currently the favourites to sign him, but PSG and multiple Premier League teams have also been linked. The Parisians are typically quick to snap up the best Ligue 1 talent and Yoro could be next.

Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle)

Bruno Guimaraes’ future at Newcastle United is currently up in the air, which could allow PSG to sign him this summer.

Interest from Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool could complicate matters, but Newcastle may opt to sell the Brazilian to PSG in order to avoid strengthening a rival if they are forced to offload him once the 2023-24 season concludes.

Bernardo Silva (Man City)

Barcelona are currently the favourites to sign Bernardo Silva, after Joao Felix’s recent comments, but PSG are also extremely interested in the Manchester City midfielder.

Silva has been continuously linked with an Etihad departure for the past few summers, but he has remained loyal to Pep Guardiola’s side. However, this year could be different and PSG are actively in the race to sign him.

Luis Diaz (Liverpool)

Signing an adequate Mbappe replacement is set to be PSG’s main focus this summer, although Bradley Barcola has already proven that he is ready to step up when his compatriot leaves.

However, Liverpool star Luis Diaz continues to be linked with a move to the Parc des Princes and the Reds are reportedly willing to sell him if their valuation of €90 million is met.

PSG have expressed their interest in the Colombian, but they must now decide whether he is worth that eye-watering fee.

Victor Osimhen (Napoli)

Victor Osimhen is an alternative to Diaz and the Nigerian may be a better-suited Mbappe replacement given Barcola and Ousmane Dembele represent a solid winger duo.

Signing an out-and-out striker has therefore been touted as an option and Osimhen is the most likely number nine to join PSG this summer. However, Chelsea are also interested and reports suggest the Blues are leading the race for his signature as things stand.
