Kylian Mbappe has suggested that Paris Saint-Germain should sign Antoine Griezmann, according to a report.

Mbappe is once again firmly in PSG's plans. Though the Parisians would still consider selling the 24-year-old should an offer in excess of €250 million come in, the animosity between the two camps has been laid to rest following productive talks after PSG's opening day draw against Lorient.

The Frenchman was reinstated and duly scored on his comeback as PSG again failed to win, this time away at Toulouse. Another meeting followed on Sunday (August 20), which was again positive and which included the French club expressing their bemusement at the fact that Real Madrid have not made an offer for Mbappe despite the distinct possibility that he will now extend his PSG contract.

Mbappe wants Griezmann

That is at least according to Fanatic, a Turkish outlet which claims that PSG are pondering making a move for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann due to his low release clause worth just €25m. Among the people supposedly pushing for deal is the 32-year-old's France teammate Mbappe.

Should it materialise, it would be Griezmann's first time playing professionally outside of Spain and, therefore, also his first time playing in his native France, however, it is doubtful that there is much to this rumour.

Griezmann did recently talk about his future, though, reiterating his desire to end his career in Major League Soccer and stating that his goal for this season is to become Atletico Madrid's all-time top scorer.

"I've always said that my objective will be to end my career there. I like American sports and I'd like to play in MLS, and to enjoy playing there. But first of all, I'd like to make history and win titles with Atletico."

"We obviously want to win in LaLiga, we want to fight for the Copa del Rey and the Champions League. Personally, I want to score the 17 goals that would make me the top scorer in Atletico's history, which really excites me."
