Real Madrid have announced the signing of Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth, with the Spain international becoming the first addition of the summer.
Huijsen has not come cheap. Los Blancos have spent an initial €60 million on the 20-year-old centre-back, beating the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea to land the highly rated talent.
Such a player inevitably comes with a significant wage, and it has already been revealed how much money the Netherlands-born star will earn at Real Madrid.

What is Dean Huijsen’s Real Madrid salary?
Dean Huijsen will receive €9 million per year as his Real Madrid wage during the first season of his five-year deal at the Bernabeu, according to football transfer news expert Ben Jacobs.
By the end of his contract, he can expect to earn €11m a season, it is added.
Over the course of his first Real Madrid deal, Huijsen will therefore earn €45-55m – almost doubling the Spanish club’s costs for the defender.
How does this compare to Real Madrid’s superstars?
Kylian Mbappe is Real Madrid’s highest earner, with the former PSG star earning a gross pay of €31m per year, according to Capology.
This stands clear as the club’s biggest wage – and by quite some distance. David Alaba is reportedly Los Blancos’ next biggest earner on €22.5m per year – one of the reasons that the club is so eager to offload the defender in the summer after an injury-hit season.
Vinicius Junior only comes in joint-third alongside Jude Bellingham. The pair are each estimated to earn €21m per year. This is a source of consternation for the forward, who has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League amid a wrangle over his deal. He reportedly wants to be paid similar to Mbappe.
Huijsen’s €9m wage will put him on parity with Lucas Vazquez, well outside the club’s leading earners, with 15 Real Madrid stars earning €10m or more annually.
