Barcelona are currently considering the offer and whether or not to accept it.

On the one hand, this is a good offer for a player who is 37 and whose contract expires at the end of the season.

On the other hand, Lewandowski continues to be a top level striker and a crucial part of Barcelona's team this season.

Will Barcelona accept Lewandowski offer

Whatever happens, there is a good chance Lewandowski will still leave in 2026 on a free transfer in July.

There has been little to no attempt from Barcelona or Lewandowski to ignite contract renewal talks.

Fabrizio Romano denies that Lewandowski leaving Barcelona is a done deal but he says that there is a "concrete possibility" the veteran striker will depart.

The Italian journalist says that Lewandowski is currently focused only on Barcelona and believes that the team has every chance to win every major trophy this season.

After the new year, Romano says, Lewandowski will start focusing more on where he will be next season and making decisions on his next club.

It has been reported elsewhere that Lewandowski wants to carry on playing in Europe rather than moving to MLS or the Middle East.

Lewandowski joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich at the age of nearly 34 in 2022 for €45 million rising too €50m.

Despite his age, he has continued to be prolific. He has scored 105 goals in 157 games for Barcelona.
