Real Madrid go 'ALL OUT' after Kylian Mbappe transfer demand
Real Madrid will go “all out” to sign Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate during the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain.
The 26-year-old will become a free agent next summer, after refusing to sign a new contract at Anfield, and Real Madrid are the clear frontrunners for his signature amid their pursuit of a replacement for the injury-prone Eder Militao.
Los Blancos have prioritised completing Bosman transfers over the past few years, in a bid to reduce their outlay on players, and they are expected to sign Konate on a free transfer when his current Liverpool deal expires at the end of June.
However, Spanish outlet E-Noticies claim that Xabi Alonso’s side are planning to submit a €40 million offer for his signature in January, despite the fact he will be available for free just six months later.
Los Blancos are reportedly set to go “all out” to bring the France international to the Santiago Bernabeu next year, with Kylian Mbappe eager for Real Madrid to sign his compatriot in 2026.
Liverpool to sign Marc Guehi
With Konate set to join Real Madrid next year, Liverpool are expected to finalise a deal for Marc Guehi to finally arrive at Anfield.
The England international was on the verge of joining Arne Slot’s side on Transfer Deadline Day and he even filmed a farewell video to Crystal Palace ahead of his anticipated move to the reigning Premier League champions.
Manchester City have been tipped to compete for Guehi’s signature in 2026, but he has already agreed terms with Liverpool and he is expected to join the Anfield outfit either in January or next summer.
