Kylian Mbappe could be a Real Madrid player within DAYS, according to a report from Marca.

Mbappe has said that he wants to leave PSG at the end of his contract in 2024, with the Ligue 1 champions of the belief that he has already agreed a deal with Los Blancos.

The 24-year-old is presently frozen out of Les Parisiens’ plans, with the Parc des Princes outfit threatening to pin him to the bench all season if he does not agree a transfer this summer. PSG are eager that they will not lose the striker for nothing.

While a world-record bid has arrived from the Saudi Pro League, Mbappe has ignored those advances, despite the promise of a massive salary, and continues to train with those players PSG are intent on selling.

It had been expected that he would only move to Real Madrid next summer, despite all this, but according to Marca there could be a dramatic shift in events.

The Madrid source reports that Friday is a “very important day” in the Mbappe transfer saga, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side having “the key” to signing the player.

It states that negotiations over a €250 million deal could take place over the “next hours of days” and that a deal seems “closer than ever”.

Le10Sport says that PSG have given the green light for a "legendary" transfer and have given up retaining him.

PSG to compensate Mbappe

Furthermore, PSG are set to compensate Mbappe for giving up the salary he would have earned in Paris during the 2023/24 season, which comes to an estimated €192m, including bonus payments. The Ligue 1 club have already agreed these terms with Fayza Lamari, his mother and agent.

For his part, Mbappe is said to be aware of the mistake that he made when he re-signed for PSG last summer, which was an action that led to Real Madrid supporters burning his shirt. It appears, though, that all will be forgiven when his move to the Bernabeu is complete.
