Mbappe told how to succeed at Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe continues to be linked with a move from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid, and now a los Blancos legend has weighed in on his potential transfer.

Mbappe came close to joining Real from PSG last year, and the club had reportedly already made plans for his unveiling at the Santiago Bernabeu before he U-turned, signing a new three-year contract in Paris instead.

Mbappe's €72 million a year deal made him the highest-paid player in world football until Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Al Nassr in January, and he was reportedly given unprecedented sway in the club's sporting direction as part of the negotiations.

But he has thrown his toys out of the pram since, publicly rebelling against being asked to play as a No.9 while Lionel Messi and Neymar operate in the deeper and wider positions that he covets.

For Guti, who played alongside the likes of Ronaldo, Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane at the height of Real's 'Galactico' era, Mbappe would have to curb his ego if he was to make a success of a move to the Spanish capital.

Guti: Mbappe must be humble

"Mbappe must come to Real Madrid with his head down and be just one player among many in the dressing room," the former Spain midfielder told El Chiringuito de Jugones.
