Over the course of the season, Mamardashvili made 3.1 saves per match, or 55 saves in total – a fine return for a player who only played half the season.
Additionally, he helped Valencia reach the final of the Copa del Rey, where they ended up falling short to Real Betis back in April.
His form also earned him a call-up to the Georgia national team for the very first time back in September 2021, when he played against Bulgaria.
