Thomas Tuchel isn't the only major figure who could be leaving Bayern Munich this summer…

Bayern Munich are in for a summer of chance. Tuchel will depart as head coach after surrendering the Bundesliga title to Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen, and his replacement will have fresh ideas.

Who that might be remains open, although former Manchester United man Ralf Rangnick has emerged as a frontrunner ahead of Zinedine Zidane and Roberto De Zerbi, while former Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann has extended his contract with Germany.

But some players could be bound for the Allianz Arena exit irrespective of who the manager is, with irrevocable damage already done.

FootballTransfers looks at five players who could leave Bayern this summer…

Kim Min-jae

Kim Min-jae arrived at Bayern from Napoli in a €58 million deal last summer as one of the most coveted centre-backs in world football, having helped his former employers to a first Serie A title in 33 years the previous campaign.

But he has fallen down the pecking order at Bayern in recent months, with even the much-maligned Eric Dier playing ahead of him, and with Matthijs de Ligt and Dayot Upamcano also blocking his path to first-team minutes, a return to Napoli could be on the cards.

Alphonso Davies

Alphonso Davies is one of Real Madrid's top transfer targets and has been dragging his feet on extending a contract which currently runs until the summer of 2025.

One of the few vocal supporters of former sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, Davies' form has wobbled in recent months, but he remains one of the game's best left-backs on his day.

Real are reportedly willing to wait for Davies to be available on a free, but Bayern would rather cash in this summer than lose him for nothing next, and there could be a window for Premier League suitors to swoop.

Jamal Musiala

A Bayern academy graduate like Davies - even if formed at previous clubs - Jamal Musiala is now the crown jewel of the Bayern project, seen as the long-term successor to Thomas Muller in the final third.

But despite being a Germany international, Musiala's mother tongue is English, and he has previously admitted that he still feels at home in London. Manchehster City might have other ideas, though, with Pep Guardiola reportedly eyeing him up as Kevin De Bruyne's heir at the Etihad.

Joshua Kimmich

Joshua Kimmich is another player who has been attracting Guardiola's interest, the pair having enjoyed a brilliant working relationship when Pep was still at Bayern.

Thinks have begun to go south for Kimmich since then, and the emergence of Aleksandar Pavlovic means that Kimmich has had to recert to left-back for club and country this season having been one of the best midfielders in the world for the last few.

City aren't his only admirers, with Manchester United and Barcelona also credited with an interest.

Serge Gnabry

Serge Gnabry has been injured for much of this season, but even when fit there is a suspicion that he doesn't have Tuchel's full faith - neither did he have Nagelsmann's before that.

The new manager might fancy the former Arsenal youngster, but he is also one of the club's top earners, and the top brass are understood to be keen to offload expensive underperformers. Fellow winger Leroy Sane is under pressure by the same rationale.
