Arsenal are one of four clubs that wish to make a move for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jesper Lindstrom.

Sport1 reports that the midfielder looks certain to leave his current side, who are asking for around €30 million. It is believed that the Hessen have reportedly received interest from three to four major clubs who are willing to pay the sum - and Arsenal are particularly interested, as well as Brentford, who have five Danes in their squad.

Frankfurt's sporting director Markus Krosche has already signed Omar Marmoush, a versatile player who will join the club from VfL Wolfsburg on a free transfer, in preparation for Lindstrom’'s departure.

And Sky report that the club are reportedly eyeing TSG Hoffenheim's Christoph Baumgartner, who has a release clause of approximately €15m if Hoffenheim are relegated.

Lindstrom has a contract with Frankfurt until 2026, but according to Sport1, the club are open to selling him.

The Dane joined the club two years ago from Brondby for €7m. He played a crucial role in the club's Europa League victory last season, contributing 13 goals and 14 assists in 70 competitive matches.

Saka close to fresh deal

Arsenal have been busy elsewhere, with Bukayo Saka close to signing a fresh deal where he will earn close to £15m-a-season.

The Gunners attacker is emerging as one of the players of the season in the Premier League and the Daily Mail report that he has already agreed in principle to a new long-term deal.

The fresh terms will see his weekly wage rise to around £300,000-per-week, meaning he will be the club’s highest earner.

The 21-year-old winger has been instrumental in the Gunners' title charge this season and his salary reflects that.

And it will surely bring an end to the noise that he could make a switch elsewhere. Manchester City have been monitoring Saka's future given his current deal is due to expire at the end of next season, but Saka sees his future with Arsenal under Mikel Arteta.
