Erling Haaland celebrates hat-trick in DFB-Pokal first round

Erling Haaland is the most highly-valued player in the Bundesliga.

The Norway centre-forward has scored an incredible 72 goals in 71 games since joining Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg in January 2020.

He is arguably the most wanted player on the transfer market in world football and we thus value him at €107 million.

FootballTransfers' transfer valuations are calculated in collaboration with SciSports, a world-leading football analytics agency that assesses the relative transfer valuations of over 60,000 professional footballers worldwide. SciSports use multiple data points including current and potential ability, contract length, form, age, and other crucial factors.

REVEALED: The world's most valuable footballers

Alphonso Davies is already Canada’s most famous soccer player in history after exploding onto the scene in the last couple of years.

Able to play as a winger or at left back – as he does for Bayern – the 21-year-old Davies is valued at €80m.

Another prodigious youngster is in third place. Jude Bellingham is three years younger than both Haaland and Davies but is already one of the best players in the Bundesliga.

He is valued at €73m, just €1m more than Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich.

Kimmich is one of the few players in world football to be world class in more than one position, excelling at both right back and centre midfield.

Two more Bayern players follow in fifth and sixth place, new summer signing Dayot Upamecano at €65m and Leroy Sane at €62m.

Bayer Leverkusen have a couple of young gems in the 22-year-old Moussa Diaby and 18-year-old Florian Wirtz. Diaby is valued at €58m and Wirtz at €52m.

Bayern Munich’s wing wizards Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman complete the top 10 as both are valued at €52m too.

Incredibly, the oldest players in the top 10 most valuable players in the Bundesliga are Gnabry and Kimmich at 26, illustrating what a hotbed of young talent the league is.
