Neymar sends message to Messi: I’m happy at PSG

Neymar has told the French media that he is happy at Paris Saint-Germain and isn’t looking to leave, sending a message to Lionel Messi that he will need to move to France to play with him next season.

Messi’s contract at Barcelona runs out next summer and there have been regular suggestions that he will no renew, with Manchester City thought to be the front-runners for his signature for a long time.

After defeating Manchester United at Old Trafford last week, the Brazilian said he wanted to play with Messi again, as soon as ‘next season’.

And after his brilliant hat-trick dismantled Istanbul Basaksehir 5-1 to help PSG finish top of Group G, the forward made it clear that he sees his own future in Paris.

“The idea of leaving does not cross my mind. We need to talk. we have a very good relationship, i am very happy at PSG.”

So if Neymar insists he is staying in Paris, for the duo that spent such a successful time together at Barcelona, winning the Champions League in 2015, it will mean that Messi will be looking to negotiate a transfer in January.
