Seys not thinking about move

Man Utd target Joaquin Seys insists that he is currently not thinking about leaving Club Brugge.

The Belgium international was a target for the Red Devils in the summer in their search for a new left-back - a search that remains ongoing with increased urgency after a horrific start to the new season.

Brugge didn't want to sell Seys in the summer, but it is possible that the 21-year-old will be allowed to move in 2027. For now, his full focus is on the Belgian club. "To be honest, I’m not really thinking about that yet," Seys told VTM when asked about his future.

"This is the club I love, so it’s wonderful that I’ve already been able to play so many matches here. This club is close to my heart, and I would give everything for it. Right now, I’m focusing entirely on Club Brugge, and we’ll see what happens after that."

Leon ready to push for January exit

Forgotten Ruben Amorim signing Diego Leon is ready to push for a January loan move away from Man Utd, according to his agent.

Despite being a senior Paraguay international, the 19-year-old left-back has not made a single first-team appearance in his more than 12 months at the club. He missed the World Cup because of his lack of action, and patience is now really wearing thin.

"If there isn’t a plan to break into the first team between December and January, we’ll look for a way out for him. A loan somewhere where he can compete, get playing time, and return to Manchester," Leon's agent told ABC Deportes.

Batrakov competition grows

Arsenal and Liverpool have joined the race for Galatasaray midfielder Aleksey Batrakov, TEAMtalk claims.

The Russia international has been on Man Utd's radar for a while, but the Red Devils were unable to sign him from Lokomotiv Moscow due to the sanctions regime, which prohibits the transfer of funds to Russian entities.

Galatasaray snapped up Batrakov this summer, and the attacking midfielder is quickly becoming a key player. Scouts from Premier League clubs have been "wowed" by his performances, and it is claimed that he has a €60 million release clause in his contract.

Conte statement

Antonio Conte has issued an official statement denying reports of advanced negotiations with Man Utd or any other clubs.

The Italian is thought to be a candidate to replace the under-pressure Michael Carrick, and some reports have suggested that Conte's camp is already in contact with the Red Devils.

"Following recent media reports in Italy, I feel it is appropriate to clarify my position," Conte posted on his Instagram account. "My name has been linked with numerous clubs, but there are currently no negotiations at an advanced stage.

"Following a wonderful and successful spell in charge of Napoli, I will take the time I need to consider how and when to return to management. It will be a carefully considered decision, one I will make when I believe the conditions are right.

"I have read reports of financial demands and requests for full control that I have supposedly already made to the clubs mentioned, as well as reservations about what has been described as my ‘strong personality’. These reports are unfounded, as there is currently no concrete basis for such assessments."
