Arsenal have been advised to sign Aston Villa star Jack Grealish by club legend Gilberto Silva.
Grealish has been one of the standout players in the Premier League this season, with a hugely impressive five goals and seven assists in 11 games in all competitions.
The 25-year-old’s form has been a key reason for Aston Villa’s impressive start to the campaign and last week he played a pivotal role in their 3-0 thumping of Arsenal at the Emirates.
This has led to a host of England’s biggest clubs being linked with a move for the €80 million-rated attacking midfielder, including Manchester United and Manchester City.
But former Arsenal hero Gilberto Silva has urged his former club to beat everyone to the punch and buy Grealish.
“Grealish is amazing. It seems like he could be a player that Arsenal missed,” the Brazilian World Cup-winner told The Invisible Wall Podcast.
“With his ability, he was one of the guys in the middle who can play beautiful football. He controls the ball, assists and can score goals.

Arsenal have been in the market for an attacking midfielder and tried to sign Lyon ace Houssem Aouar this past summer.
Their poor start to the current campaign means they could renew their attempts to buy an offensive player in the January transfer window.
